05:02:30freddybJd, I just can't get a consistent crash pattern. Now it's crashing in skin_parser.c:skin_element_callback() when skin_buffer_alloc() fails.
05:05:59JdGordonskin_buffer_alloc() shouldnt be failing
05:06:07JdGordonwhat theme are you using>?
05:09:31freddybiLike, this time. I think something gets messed up and allocates a bunch of skin_buffer_memory and then the following allocation causes a crash because the return value isn't checked. I don't think it's really running out of mem.
05:10:52freddybI do think there's a separate problem with housing keeping for unloading fonts, too.
05:11:28JdGordonI'm not so sure, I went over that pretty carefully a few times
05:16:12freddybMaybe it has something to do with the compaction? I really don't understand how or where pointers/registers get updated if our memory moves...
05:17:49JdGordonno, skin_buffer_alloc() doesnt deal with buflib at all
05:17:57JdGordonif that fails you're running out of skin buffer
05:18:05JdGordonwhich shuoldnt be close to possible, its 80KB now
05:18:16JdGordonand only used for tags, no images
05:19:15freddybNo. I mean for the font unloading issue.

05:32:53[Saint]I also need to (finally) put the iPod Video version up on the themesite, its been sitting on my storage server for months and months.

22:32:58pamauryI'm looking for some advise for the fuze+. Here is the problem: I'm currently loading the booloader at dram_start+1M and then the firmware at dram_start (so that they don't overlap). But the elftosb tool needs to know that I want to load it at dram_start+1M so I see three solution:
22:32:58pamaury1: hardcode it in the elftosb command file (current solution)
22:32:58pamaury2: load it at dram_start and then relocate (but requires an extra copy)
22:32:58DBUGEnqueued KICK pamaury
22:32:58pamaury3: add some header to the binary blob that the elftosb tool will read to find out the loading address

23:30:19pamauryactually, it would be useful to write the windows version of the tool because I guess most potential users use Windows and will eventually need it to recover :)
