01:54:05foolshI see lorenzo doing something interesting things with palm devices lately, I can't wait til the sources are available. I'm sure HaRet -> linux -> rockbox on these old WinCE would be totally possible
01:59:38[Saint]I found it mildly hilarious that it is using a 4.x kernel

02:00:19[Saint]I really want to try and revive ipodlinux a bit, especially with the pp ipods in mind.
02:00:31[Saint]I believe dreamlayers is working in that direction.
02:01:00[Saint]I had a bit of a poke around on his blog/github repo.
02:03:32foolshbeen kicking around with openembedded's bitbake build system, I was surprised to find the kernel support for many old SOC windows mobile devices already there, nice and tidy like

02:05:58[Saint]I've been poking around with my fleet of ODROID devices lately, nothing terribly interesting, and not Rockbox related.

03:16:46Strife89The funny thing is, I have plenty of OS5 Palms - just not that one.
03:17:14Strife89All with a similar CPU, to boot.
03:18:24[Franklin]well, you can always start a new port ;)

03:20:13Strife89By the time I got one to "technically usable" status, most of this channel would likely be dead. :/
03:27:15[Saint]Once most of it is in place, porting it to other similar Palm deveices would be fairly trivial.
03:27:29[Saint]FOSS developers are all over the Palm devices like flies on shit.
03:27:55[Saint]So, subsequently, there's a lot of kernel/module code out there in the Internet-o-sphere.
03:28:17Strife89Are they? The entire Palm OS line seems to be dead as far as my searches are concerned.
03:28:32Strife89Most activity appears to have ceased by early 2010.

12:34:47wodzIn lcd_update_rect() I have save = atj213x_gpio_muxsel(GPIO_MUXSEL_LCM); at the very top and atj213x_gpio_muxsel(save); at the bottom. Threads are cooperative so unless something messing with mux is called from irq context this should be safe.
12:35:43wodzNow I have the same situation in sd driver where I grab mux at the very top of function which sends command to sd and restore at the very end.

14:13:06wodzpamaury: I did save/restore to easily pair the calls when looking at the source + protect from recursion corrupting restore of mux value (not sure this happen in reality). I might have missed something but I think I use only busy loops in this code so far.
