Subject: Re: Please use CYGWIN and BASH to compile SH1 software !
From: edx (Felix.Arends_at_gmx.de)

What is the problem? It didn't work out well to use the bash thing with
windows, so I found this development pack. It uses cygwin as well and
also has a make command. I just don't have any experience with
makefiles, so I use .bats, but that's still not a problem...
(Btw... what previous post does this message refer to? My tutorial?)

To EDX:

Please, you can use Cygwin to compile our C sources or uses
BASH under Windows. Our Makefiles can work under Linux AND
Cygwin. The last Björn's tarball can be compiled under
Cygwin without problem. You should also use Björn's
unscramble.c because it is also compilable under Cygwin. If
you don't know to get CYGWIN installed, please consult this
link http://www.cygwin.com/ (setup.exe can be used to update
Cygwin version much faster because it can tell you and
download packages to update).

I'm working on Windows most time with Cygwin and Bash and
can use all the gnu stuff.
