Hi all.

I'm very happy to announce that we have released version 1.0 of the
Rockbox open source jukebox firmware.

This first version is more a proof-of-concept than a serious replacement
for the stock firmware, but some of you may still be interested in it.

Get it from the web site: http://bjorn.haxx.se/rockbox/

Version 1.0 does unfortunately not support the recorder. Future versions
will.
