The MP3 playback sounds distorted on the Player at high levels.

The sound quality improvements have been committed to the CVS.
There are more improvements in the pipe, but the sound should not be
distorted any longer.

We are working on improved sound quality on the Player. The 1.1 release
has some issues with sound quality in general, like bass and treble. This
problem *might* have been fixed when solving bug number 573347.
Please try again and report.
