Has anyone else noticed that the stock archos firmaware (on the ajr20 at
least) doesn't restore it's sound settings properly on reboot (except for
volume)?

It will restore the values ok for bass, treble, loudness, and bass boost -
but it doesn't appear to actually initialise the hardware with these values.
eg. if you set loudness to max and reboot, it says the loudness is max, but
it isn't - if you then lower the loudness by one "click" you will hear the
loudness increase! What a joke.
