Summary: batteries are not charged

Initial Comment:
While Rockbox 1.1 is running with the power cord
inserted, for some reason the batteries are still not
charged. I have to shut down Rockbox to get it charged!

We are doing research on this. The batttery charging is software
controlled, and we want to be sure that we donīt damage any batteries.
