As of 20020808 build:

Get rid of the clock full stop, the top line will need all the room it
can for status icons.

Add # of ### to indicate where you are in a playlist or folder (where
the clock was?).

Back button while > 3 sec into a song should bring you to the start of a
song, while < 3 sec should bring you to the previous song.

Persistance:
When you guess get to persisting settings can we get it in a common
format (xml/ini) so that it can be modified by a "manger" while docked
and also would enable having several "favorite" sets (random jazz/big
bass/etc).

USB Mode:
When in usb mode have the option to leave the machine connected to the
computer, but switch back to music mode.

While playing:
F2 (recorder) - turn shuffle on / off.

F3 (recorder) - cycle through play modes (normal, single, repeat single,
repeat all)

Rather than have "on" do something, make it like a "shift" key, this
will enable:

on+left, on+right (cycle through vol, bass, treble mode for the up down
arrows)

on+up, on+down ???
on + fn1/2/3 ???
 

Just a few suggestions, and as always keep up the most excellent
good/great work.
