Hi,

Attached is a patch that sets last_checksum in settings.c:save_config_buffer() if the settings were saved successfully, so they won't be saved _each_ time you enter the menu, regardless if anything was changed or not... :)

The patch is tested on a Player (and isn't made against CVS - as I don't have access right now - but rather the 0814 snapshot)...
