Hello Matthias,

Or more simple:

Find the maximum range that all filenames in a directory have in
common (and end with a space) and cut that off.

So, if a user has

aaa - t1.mp3
aaa - t2.mp3
aaa - t3.mp3
aaa - t4.mp3

the "aaa - " is cut off, if there are files

aaa - t1.mp3
bbb - t2.mp3

nothing is cut off.

Bye, Uwe.
