I think it is good to reorder the menu items as you just did. But why is
e.g. "Playback" more "general" (it's in the General Settings menu) than
"Sound settings"?

I mean, why did you not just add all the new Submenus to the main menu?
OK, if one has Games and Screensavers and Debug (I think it won't be
there some day?) there, it would be a long menu, but I have two free
lines there left (with statusbar on and games/screensavers off) on my
recorder.

So my personal opinion is to shift the newly created submenus as they
are one level higher into the main menu, how do the others think about
that? As often with my suggestions, they are only suggestions. I can
live with how it's now, of course and RockBox in all is very usable for
me.
