        I disagree on this, we shouldn't make the player and recorder
compile diverge without a good reason. I shouldn't be too difficult
instead to come up with some method of notifying when it has wrapped
around. Perhaps we could change the cursor for a moment, or make it
flash. Or we could add a sentinel value at the end of the directory so
it is obvious when you wrap around:
