This patch fixes the missing support for the recorder and
actually changes the settings in the MAS according to the
new loaded file.

It's strange: The code was somehow nearly complete and I
just had to fill out a few very obvious things. Seems that
the original author lacked of only half an hour to complete
the job. :)
