Yes - the design allows any user to change the basic font
look-and-feel without access to any source code.
As well, if the font is removed or missing, everything
will still work.

Eric suggested the idea of having a font browser as
part of the UI, allowing folks to pick a font shown
graphically on the display without mucking with the
filesystem.
