Nice idea also, I agree with ON+xx, but I think that the F2/F3 screens to be
merge to free F3 and assign it for other thing.

No. F-keys are too valuable to be assigned to a single function.

My plan is rather to make the ON key a modifier for PgUp/PgDn in the dir
browser. I.e. DOWN = one line down, ON+DOWN = one page down.
