Hey,

 All units have one version of firmware(v. 5.08 is the newest) burnt into the
chips, and not on the hd. All you need to do is download a build or a
version, name it "archos" and put it in the root of you jukebox drive. If you
want to use rolo, you will need to download 5.07 from archos.com and name it
someting other than archos, and select it using rockbox. Have fun! -Lee
