        You said you left it in the car, but you didn't say whether you stopped
        it or not. Obviously, if you left it playing overnight, it would
        certainly drain the batteries. Also, if you pause it, instead of
        stopping it, it won't auto-shutoff, so if it was sitting there in the
        WPS with the power LED on....

        Does the player use the same shutoff algorithm as the recorder? Maybe
        it's done in hardware...?
