There may be some confusion here for newbies for two reasons:

1. The default menu setting doesn't show .fnt and .lng files,
so the user can't see them even if they're on disk. There's
no mention in the release notes that this option must be turned
on to "activate" fonts or languages.

2. The recorder-1.4 zip file, unlike the player, doesn't have a
pre-built .rockbox directory, everything is in the root dir.

Perhaps all file extensions should be shown when in the .rockbox
directory, and the .rockbox directory is always visible, regardless
of the filesystem-wide menu setting...?
