I've played a bit with the pitch and am amazed how well it
works. With the fine tuning (left/right) and pause it's actually
easier to beatmatch an mp3 then a vinyl record (I guess I can
finally dump my technics MK2 turntables now :) )
That's just - wow!
I've also like to comment on Itai's original post

I'd prefer something in between: If the speed change can't be without
clicks how about this:
When you change the speed you probably hold down the ON key
and press and release the up/down keys until you reach the desired
speed. While you press the up/down keys you hear a lot of clicks and
not much music. This is not that helpful when searching.
How about just one speed change every time the up/down key is
released? This would only give you one click - which should be OK
even if you have the jukebox running on full volume...
With the 021022 release I had some small bugs on a 20G recorder:
- When changing language files the interface displays the text "show
files" as a reply (also in German and Danish)
I played with pitch for over an hour in a row:
- After changing the pitch a couple of times in a 3:31minute 192kb
mp3 file I suddenly got negative time displays (-1:-1) and the bar
was stuck on the right - the music kept playing
- Once the playback sound stopped. The time continued to count,
restarting the track brought the sound back
- The pitch info screen sometimes didn't show, the unit accepted
pitch commands, but the WPS stayed visible during the change.
- the time display doesn't work correctly in pitch. Try to go down to
60% speed and you can see that clearly
Those are just minor bug, so keep on the good work!
