Subject: Feature Request
From: JJTye_at_aol.com
Date: 2002-11-16

Dear Rockbox

I have a few other requests that may be useful.

1) a support for the NTFS file system rather that FAT32 may improve the
efficiency of the Jukebox since NTFS is more stable and is higher in
performance than FAT32.

2) An ability to sort and play music by Genre, Artist, Mood, Album (present
in the MP3 ID3 tag)

3) An ability to change the speed of music by time-stretching rather than
changing the pitch.

4) Some Sound Spatial Enhancements like Hall, Auditorium, Club, Disco,
Concert, Ballroom, Cathedrial, Stadium etc would be Fantastic!

5) Recording: How about some Minidisk-style editing facilities for MP3
recording such as Split Track, Join Tracks, Number Tracks, Remove unwanted
portions of your recordings and Fade in-out?

5) and the final request which is soooooooo good Ive saved it for last is
support for the Realizer plug-in, which helps the sound quality by restoring
the frequencies lost by the MP3 compression! (Winamp supports the Realizer
plug-in)

Many Thanks

Jason

PS Keep Up The Good Work! Can't wait to ditch the crummy Archos firmware for
good!!1
