Is it possible to implement an option that enables you to choose between VBR
Bitrate recording or Fixed-bitrate MP3 recording? I know the Archos can only
record up to 160kbs max, but you could have fixed settings such as 32kbs,
56kbs, 64kbs, 80kbs, 96kbs, 112kbs, 128kbs and 160Kbs, whilst retaining the
Quality menu for VBR mode

Just an idea that suddenly came to mind. Theoretically its possible since all
you are doing is telling the Archos to keep the bitrate constant during a
recording.
