Revisited...

In following the instructions on the page http://rockbox.haxx.se/lock.html I
used atapwd to attempt to unlock my disk. In using both "user password" and
"master password" I got an error which said "command rejected by drive." The
"frozen" flag is set --I'm not sure if this is why the drive is rejecting
the command. In hopes this was a false negative I tried firing up the drive
again in the Jukebox 6000 but again got the "Part. Error Pls Chck HD"

I can try the linux solution but I'd like to avoid a mess and am hoping
someone has a better suggestion.
