As I tested in the past, raising the input voltage for the ajb doesn't
change the charging current. I think the IC that switches the charging
current actually does a current regulation (even if I don't understand
the circuit at this point).

So this option is not necessary.

Which *two* cut-offs? The one is "stop trickle charge after 12h (or
so)". And the other?
