Hi guys

It would be very interesting to connect an universal infrared receiver to an archos through the serial line mod.
The universal infra red (UIR) is a well known design for connecting any remote control to a pc with rs232. It is microcontroler based (pic 16F84)

Is there a standard way of remotely control the archos with or without rockbox?

I think there is a remote kit sold by archos. How does it work?
