Rockbox mail archiveSubject: ignoring paths when playingg from playlistsignoring paths when playingg from playlists

Date: Sat, 4 Jan 2003 01:05:42 -0800 (PST) Forgive me if people have bitched about this already. Playlists generated by several programs on my computer (MMJB and a few other freeware progs) include path information eg: c:\music\artist\album\#at.mp3. Archos firmware doesnt seem to have a problem reading these playlists and ignoring the path information. Rockbox, however, claims it is loading the correct number of files but then remains at a screen that is blank except for battery, volume, and time in their usual positions and does not play the songs. Deleting the path information from the generated playlists solves this problem but i have a lot of playlists and i'm not looking forward to the task and I DEFINITELY don't want to have to use archos firmware. Am I missing something? Just being plain dumb? Again, sorry if this is redundant and with the exception of this itty-bitty problem, rockbox is an incredible piece of software and i applaud all involved. --Rich Marotti "I'm a python of productivity."
