exactly.

actually, i'd like to know if anyone has any experience with any specific
devices... and if there are some models that i should stay away from or that
i should go buy immediately.

currently at the top of my list is the soundfeeder sf100, because it uses
power from the car and can broadcast anywhere on the fm dial (not just 88.1
or 88.3, for example).

i'm fully expecting it to sound crappy, but hopefully the crappy sound of my
own selections will still be better than the crappy selections of the local
radio stations.
