It's nice to transfer files from a network drive.
That way you can see the transfer rate to the unit by
using a network meter like DUMeter. With USB1.1 at
first it would peak around 2.5MB or so while the
buffer was filled, then it'd steady off to 1MB. Then
occasionally I would see nothing for about 10-15
seconds, then it would pick back up again and peak
then have a steady transfer.
