I've submitted a patch of my autobookmarking (multi-file resume)
feature that also has the preliminary support for actual bookmarking.
I've only tried it on the Jukebox 20 Recorder, so I'm not sure
how well it will do on other models. Take a look at the patch notes
for the known issues/tbds.
