As I thought, compiling in support for scsi disks solved the problem I had mounting
the device. The 2.4.20 kernel gives lots of information when it boots the Archos,
attached below. I'm getting Bad target number and an apparently failed "Attempting
to get CSW" -- any ideas what's going on? What I actually DON'T get is a nice little
message telling me where the device is, as on Bjorn's page -- "Detected scsi disk
sda at scsi1, channel 0, id 0, lun 0"... But mounting /dev/sda1 works:
