1. I don't consider 4K tiny.

2. I made that limit. I fiddled around with some language files and I
discovered that they all would fit very easy within it. Why would I then set
it higher?

3. It is *very* easy to extend should we decide that's needed. It is a lot
better to be restrictive and extend when needed, than the other way around.
We have an extreme lack of memory to waste.
