On the schematics we can se a MC34063A voltage converter at the charge
input of the recorder. On its datasheet I read it accepts input voltages
as low as 3V. Why is it that batteries are only charged when input
voltage is above 6.5V? Anyone has the time + knowledge to investigate
this?
