Since the 'cvs compile status' table is all green (except the warning in the
windows simulator) I'd guess these are local problems in your setup.

Weird. thread.h is in firmware/export/ as has been mentioned before.

Right, and I have alerted the list about this so this should not be a
surprise to developers reading this list.

Can't you just get the latest CVS and try to build that? What happens then?
And make sure that you use cvs to create new dirs (-d) and delete old files
(-P)...
