Subject: Re: memory upgrade adaptor PCB
From: Quiffman (quiffman_at_paradise.net.nz)
Date: 2003-02-18

Could you explain how/why soldering a PCB to the Archos board would be
easier/better than attaching the new memory chip straight to the Archos
board?
I'm guessing you're doing it in an attempt to remove the potential
haystack of wires? But would the new PCB actually fit within the casing?

Please keep us posted on your progress in searching for a 16MB version
of DRAM which we could use to upgrade our memory, so far everyone I've
heard of is stuck at 8MB.
