Hello,

after some hacking, I submitted now a patch to preset the values for
time and date after a power-loss or battery change.

When entering the "Set Time/Date" menu, the values for hour, minute
and second are checked, If one is out of range, all values are set to
2003-01-01 12:00:00.

After power-loss you have to set the time anyway, so it is not neces-
sary to set the time automatically to the preset. Otherwise the status
bar would show the preset time which is not the actual time until
manual setting.
