I have an Archos Recorder with a 40 GB Harddrive and it has been working
great with the daily rockbox builds since last october.

as of last friday, when I went to turn it on, it failed to spin up the
harddrive and the player reported that it was unable to read the hard drive.
I thought that it was the fact that the hard drive had crashed, but it
appears to be ok, I tested a new 40 Gb, same thing. Right now the recorder
is running with a 20 GB just fine.

anyone have any ideas why it suddenly stopped working with 40 GB harddrives?
and it appears to have corrupted the info on the old 40 GB drive too.
