Hi

Since we're getting more code that writes text files in various ways, I
thought a proper fprintf() would be useful, so I added one minutes ago.

Now we don't have to snprintf() to a buffer only to write() it to disk
anymore.

I've run the modified snprintf() on my hardware without seeing anything
malfunctioning, but I haven't yet been able to test the fprintf()
implementation.
