Subject: Possible revised menu tree
From: Jayadvaita Swami (Jayadvaita.Swami_at_pamho.net)

A couple of days back, there was a discussion on IRC about making the Rockbox
menus shorter, so they would each fit on one page (at least with the Atadore
font).
LinusN told Bio_Hazard, "We are all ears if you have a good idea for a menu
tree."
Of course, I'm not Bio_Hazard--but I thought I might suggest a tree anyway.
The advantages here: No menu is more than seven lines long. No scrolling pages.
Perhaps some groupings are a bit more logical.
The main disadvantage: Some items are deeper down the hierarchy.
Much here is arbitrary. More experienced members of this mailing list are sure
to have better ideas.
(I have the same tree as an MS-Word "outline" document, which is much easier to
follow and tinker with. If anyone would like it, just let me know.)
Thank you for all the thought and hard work that have made Rockbox so
excellent.
Cordially,
J. Swami
