hello rockboxers!

I have 2 problems/questions :

- on saturday I made a 150 min recording (qual 7, 44,1kHz), archos recorder
10 with daily build 20030322
all went smoothly as usual, after the recording I could listen the file
entirely on my recorder, but since I copied it to my hard drive I can just
play the first 20 minute with winamp , and I can't open it with soundforge :(

"warning : an error occured while opening one or more files.

the file is an unsupported format.

I thought it was probably something related to the VBR header and I wanted to try the new "VBR fix" feature on the file in my recorder but then come my second problem..

- as I wanted to select the "VBR fix" option, I apparently pressed ON+PLAY too long of two times and my file was instantly deleted! (I've seen that the "delete confirmation" option is back in the last CVS, that's cool)
I tested some freewares and I could recover the file to my hard disk on my computer
now I'm afraid to copy this recovered file back to the archos because it will definitively overwrite the original file on the archos, the one that I could listen!
is there a way to recover this original file directly on the archos?
or maybe it doesn't matter and I just have to copy my recovered file on the archos and run the "VBR fix" feature on it?

and, first of all, do you think my main problem, the file unplayable in winamp, will be solved by the "VBR fix" tool?

any help greatly appreciated!
