Subject: RE: [ rockbox-Bugs-716839 ] Delay when ff/rew
From: Michael O'Quinn (michael_at_oquinn.info)

I also agree that as soon as track skip is pressed, the current track
should immediately stop playing.

However, the other issue, rapidly moving back or forward more than one
track, is very easy to solve. From the WPS invoke the file browser (press
Menu on a Player) and scroll up or down the number of songs you want to
skip, and then press play.

* Presto * You're there!

So, on my player, if I'm on track 4, and I want to be on 7 in a hurry,
it's "Menu, Plus, Plus, Plus, Play" and I'm there. Yes it's two extra
keystrokes, but it's still _very_ fast and easy. Took less time to do it
than to type the five words just now.
