Subject: CFG .. great!

Hi!
I just want to tell you that I use .cfg files and that I really like using
them.
Perhaps you know this, you listen to an old recording from the 70s with less
bass and a 'thin' sound, afterthat you listen to a nowadays recording like
Metallica or a dancefloor-sound thing. I have three different sound styles -
like the EQ things you have on those cheap walkmen or discmen. But the
difference is that you can program them the way you want.
It's a great thing and so easy. Just an example, someone posted here - the
levels are from me : (sorry I forgot your name)
The # line is the range and not necessary to save to your archos.
# volume (0 - 100)
volume: 75
# bass (-15 - 15)
bass: 9
# treble (-15 - 15)
treble: 8
# balance (-100 - 100)
balance: 0
# channels (stereo, stereo narrow, stereo wide,
# mono, mono left, mono right, karaoke)
channels: stereo
# loudness (0 - 9)
loudness: 5
# bass boost (0 - 80)
bass boost: 80
# auto volume (off, 2, 4, 8) [seconds]
auto volume: off
This is one of my sound presets.
I know that perhaps 99% know this, but I am so happy to be able to choose
and save and load my own things that I had to post this!
Have FuN
Fred
