I`m a little bit confused regarding changes to language files. in english.lang: # *WARNING* # # If you want to add a new string, add it to the end of this file! # If you want to remove a string, just blank it, don't actually remove it! # # If you re-order things or remove entries, you must bump the binary language # file version number in both the 'binlang' tool and the language loader code. # but in recent cvs commit the following lines have been inserted in the middle, not at the end: id: LANG_STATUS_BAR id: LANG_SCROLL_BAR is the warning message depreciated or did someone make a mistake ? furthermore, what about a "indicator" on the website if the language file is in sync (how much & what is out of sync) with the english one? so one could see, if it is "good" or if it needs maintenance (and which ID`s need maintenance). This would help keeping the language files more "up to date",IMHO regards roland ps: what about a "global" languagefile? id: IDENTIFIER desc: DESCRIPTION TEXT eng: "english menu text" ger: "german translation" dan: "dansk translation" esp: "spanish translation" ... ... If an id/desc or whatelse is added or gets depreciated, changes would perhaps be easier to do and to maintain. -- +++ GMX - Mail, Messaging & more http://www.gmx.net +++ Bitte lächeln!
