Subject: Proposal for improvements to francais.lang
From: Jean Boullier (jean.boullier_at_wanadoo.fr)
Date: 2003-04-20

I would like to have french-speaking users' opinion on a set of changes
for the french language file "francais.lang".

I am attaching file "francais-revu.lang" to this mail for your review.
Scan for lines starting with "# >" to find my proposed changes and
comments.

All these lines are in french since they are intended for people who
feel easier in french (i.e. not to keep other readers away).

Lines starting with "# >>> " describe changes that I think are mandatory
(e.g. current translation is erroneous)
Lines starting with "# >> " describe changes that I think are important
to make things more clear for "pure" users (as opposed to techies).
Lines starting with "# > " describe minor changes.

I intend to (try to) submit these changes as a new patch end of next
week to leave people on Easter holidays some time to react.

Cheers. Jean.
