(This is for Recorder models only)

I've bounced around this document with a bunch of guys on IRC, and I've
tweaked it and modified according to their friendly input and suggestions.
Now, I give you all my view on how we could make the keys work in Rockbox on
Recorders. Feel free to bring your opinion on this!

As you can see, there are still keys that are left unassigned in this
suggestion, but I don't consider that a bad thing! ;-)

GOALS
=====
- as much as possible with one hand
- less keys (and combos) to remember
- save ON + [key] combos for customizable "macros"
- generic: use f1 to reach menu and f3 for context-sensitive menus/stuff

FILE BROWSER
============
 UP/DOWN - upwards/downwards
 LEFT - go one dir level back
 RIGHT - go down one dir level
 PLAY - play file (if an mp3 then go WPS)
 F1 - goto MENU
 F2 -
 F3 - context-sensive file/dir MENU (formerly known as ON+PLAY)
 ON - go to WPS (if there's a song playing)
 ON+UP - page up
 ON+DOWN - page down
 OFF

WPS
===
 UP/DOWN - increase/decrease volume
 LEFT - prev/rew
 RIGHT - next/ffw
 PLAY - pause/play
 F1 - goto MENU
 F2 - pitch screen
 F3 - context-sensive WPS menu (CSWM):
         TOGGLE keylock, TOGGLE mute, ID3 viewer
 ON - go to DIR BROWSER
 OFF

(To unlock the keylock => F3 = > PLAY on the first option in the list, which
then will be the only thing you can do it that menu. When the keylock is
enabled, the menu will timeout after N seconds without PLAY being pressed.)

MENU
====
 UP/DOWN - upwards/downwards
 LEFT - go one menu level back (DON'T exit on top-level)
 RIGHT - go down one menu level
 PLAY - select menu item
 F1 - same as OFF
 F2 -
 F3 -
 ON - toggle back to DIR BROWSER
 OFF - exit MENU back to where you came from

RECORDING
=========
 UP/DOWN -
 LEFT/RIGHT - increase/decrease gain
 PLAY - start recording
 F1 - goto MENU
 F2 -
 F3 - context-sensive MENU, recorder settings
 ON -
 OFF - stop recording, exit recording screen
