Subject: Re: Unlocking the full features of the MAS chip (short version)
From: Jean Boullier (jean.boullier_at_wanadoo.fr)
Date: 2003-04-28

Brent,
Two thoughts and one question:
1. Considering the length of the current feature requests list and the
traffic on this mailing list, if you do not file feature requests for
all your requirements I am afraid the probability of seeing them
implemented sometime might be pretty low.
2. Knowing how reluctant people are about reading user manuals
(generally) and how difficult it is to name functions in so short menu
lines I wonder how "normal" users will feel in front of such a blooming
of options and menu settings...

And the question : I do not understand what else you expect to get when
"you set the mic gain all the way down" ? (Sincere question, no irony.)

Bye. Jean. (I cannot program these machines either (yet) so I do not
feel personally frustrated by such a long list after so much excellent
work done already).
