Most (many? all?) Archos Jukebox devices ship with a short USB A-A
cable. Since consumer devices like these are supposed to provide a
USB-B connection, A-B cables are abundant and cheap, but I haven't
been able to find an A-A cable in a regular shop. Archos charges
39.99 Euros for it, which I find quite expensive (an A-B cable costs
around 5 Euro).

Has anyone tried to replace the A-connector in the unit by a B
connector?
