Hi !

I use MP3-Tag Studio 3.0

Here is a short info from the author :

---

Welcome to Mp3/Tag Studio!

This collection of tools is designed to be all you ever need in the way of managing your mp3-collection, no matter how big or small it is. It is also focused on doing this in a way that will be the fastest and easiest, yet most powerful, for every level of mp3 user. Newbies will have no problem using the tools for their needs, while advanced users will be astounded by the powers of the advanced operation mode functions and extended tools, yet still keeping it one of the most easy and fast programs to operate.

Full ID3v1 and ID3v2 support is integrated tightly with all program functions.

Well, enough with the sweet talking. :-) I don't expect you to believe me without trying it out yourself, so please, continue reading or give the program a try right now. For most of your needs you probably won't have to read anything in the help anyway. An intuitive interface is worth more than 10 good helpfiles!

If you want to read more about using the program now, proceed to the program introduction.

Sincerely, Magnus Bråding - author and sole creator of Mp3/Tag Studio

This is me again :

You can - for example take a CD or a dir with hundreds of mp3s and this programm puts them into never ending directorys. For Example all 'THIN LIZZY' songs are under the dir THIN LIZZY, all ACDC songs under ACDC. The Problem is that you have in this case two dir's one is called ACDC, the 2nd AC DC and the 3rd maybe called AC-DC and so on. But it is a very nice programm, you can say in which way the programm should sort (ARTIST - TRACK) or (ARTIST - ALBUM - TRACK) and so on, it renames makes dirs and writes the files. I am really happy to have this. I only have it for two days, so I couldn't really test it, but the first tests were really good!

Here is the URL if you want to check your selve. I think it is much much easy to make a 'queue list' if you have everythin sortet after artists. I have it this way : One dir is a-f another is g-m another m-r another s-z and then I take 2 minutes to make a nice collection of songs and that's it. And if you have ever artist in an own dir it is very easy. The only thing I miss is a 'full shuffle' - what is the problem, why is this so difficult?? This would be really great!

Download it here : http://www.magnusbrading.com/ftp/mp3ts305.zip NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR : Contains NO THIRD PARTY ADWARE/SPYWARE whatsoever, and will NOT "call home" in any way! Please also see the FAQ for more info regarding this.

Or take a look here for more infos and the download page too :

I don't have anything to do with this programm or the programmer, I just like it and I think it solves most problems people here have with sorting/directory problems.

Have a nice day and don't listen without music.

Fred
