Subject: Dynamic Menus?

Dynamic Menus?

Hi,

A while ago there was discussion on this list about creating a special
directory (or using .rockbox) which could contain playlists which would
appear on the main menu.

Did this ever happen? was it a patch, or did it make the CVS?

What I REALLY want is to have the playlist of ALL files to be considered
special. If we standardise on having a file called all.m3u (say) in
.rockbox, which is a playlist of all files, we could have a single menu
option "Shuffle All" - that would rock...

of course, to not use this feature, you just would not have the file there.

Maybe you can already do something similar in a different way, but I would
love to be able to switch to shuffle all without taking the rockbox out of
my pocket...

As mentioned recently, all the developers hear is requests for new features
/ winges - so I would like to say that I am a happy Rockbox user who uses it
every day and have never looked back to the original firmware since the
early days :)

cheers

george
