But if the amount of free space (in Bytes) is 1,093,451,776, dividing by 1024 would give a smaller result than dividing by 1000... But Rockbox tells me I have 3.2 GB free, Windows tells me I have 1 GB free
1,093,451,776 = 1.018 GB using 1024
So where does the 3.2 GB figure come from?

rockbox (wrongly ?) uses 1024 to divide the disk space.
hard disks are normally calculated with 1000 as divider.
