There is a patch that adds record timer functionality to rockbox. See the
patch tracker at source forge to find information about the patch.

However, note that this patch is based on CVS code from several months ago
and I don't think it will apply cleanly to the current code.

I can post a precompiled 2.0 firmware version that includes this
functionality if there are a few requests for it. It will take a little
work for me though. It would be easier to post a new patch that will apply
cleanly to the current CVS code. How much interest is there out there for
this?
