The ajz file is for recorder specific models only. Renaming it (probably)
won't allow it to work on a studio model. In order to get bookmarking into
your studio is to either compile it into the 2.0 standard code or to ask
nicely on the mailing list for someone to compile the code and send the mod
file to you.

The functionality you noticed in the 2.0 build is the Resume feature that has
been part of Rockbox for a while. It only works for one file at any given
time. Kind of like only being able to use a single bookmark for a library of
a 100 books :-).
